The back is stamped “German Silver.” German Silver is a trade name for full 18% Nickel Silver, polished to a jewelry finish. Although there is no silver in German Silver, items stamped with this are more collectible and/or sough after.

In good vintage condition, with the wear you would expect from an item this age. Comes in the original gift box.
